Right at the home page, customers can shop products based on the frame technology, lens technology. The frame technology page features an interactive photo with hot spots to highlight and link to various technologies, as well as a video element to animate the unique Autoloc Lens Interchange.
TASK: create a modern and striking e-commerce website for an emerging sunglass company, Voca Eyewear
Voca Eyewear is a young, energetic company with an adventurous attitude. They are dedicated to evolving sport eyewear to fit a variety of active lifestyles through their patented lens and frame technologies. Inspired by nature, their eyewear adapts your eyes to enhance your experience wherever and however you are moved.
These elements inspired a website design with a very non-traditional layout. We took the brand’s bold colors and created a dynamic background that moves the customer down the page. This starts on a micro level with the honeycomb pattern on white, becomes more prominent with thin orange stripes, and ends on macro level with large asymmetrical orange shapes. Voca provided beautiful and engaging lifestyle photography which we highlighted, as well as product photos that were featured prominently throughout the website.
Highlighting the innovative technology present in the glasses was of key importance. Our challenge was to create ways for online customers to be able to fully experience these features without being able to physically hold the glasses in their hand. We also wanted to have this technology information to not only be explanatory, but to excite the customer and seamlessly convert to sales. See the day.
The lens technology page features an interactive image slider that customers can move back and forth to experience how the RGO Polarized lenses can improve a clarify of the picture.
The customer can also shop through a user friendly interface where they can filter the neatly aligned products based on a large array of factors such as activity, technology, color, and price. See the day.
Once the customer arrives at the product page, they are greeted by a full-screen lifestyle image, as well as large, eye-catching product photos. From this page, the customer can directly see which technologies are included in their selection by using a hover feature to view a description of each. Showing the customer the company’s Instagram feed and related products keeps customers engaged on the site and encourages continued exploration of the products.
